Objective of the Project

The project objective is to enable the comprehensive therapy for children with perinatal disabilities in Vesna Children´s Hospital. Within the project, up-to-date therapeutic technologies will be procured and clinical psychologist premises established. The target group is children with perinatal disabilities leading to infantile cerebral palsy. The target group consists mainly of patients with health disabilities requiring long-term therapeutic care, paediatric patients with infantile cerebral palsy or vulnerable children as listed in the diagnoses of central coordination disorder and central tonus disorder. The project will also have impacts on the target group children families, because the long-term treatment often modified with pharmacological therapy for epileptic symptoms or disorders of the ADHD type, specific learning difficulties, etc., will burden very much the parents at the mental, physical and social level. The project target group consists of above child patients from all over the Czech Republic.
