The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) has announced the results of the open call under the Czech-Norwegian Research Programme financed from the Norway Grants. The current allocation of the programme is 433,5 mil. CZK / 12,5 mil. EUR, including the co-financing part provided by the MEYS. From a total of 389 submitted applications, 19 projects could be supported. A further seven projects are placed in the reserve list.
The division of the priority areas in the supported projects is: 6 projects focused on environmental protection, 6 projects focused on health, 2 projects combining environmental protection and health, 3 projects focused on social sciences and humanities and 2 projects combining social sciences and humanities and health.
The beneficiaries are universities from Prague, Brno, Ústí n. Labem and Pilsen and institutes of the Academy of Science. All projects include partnership cooperation with Norwegian researches.
