GENERAL INFORMATION

The overall objective of the Czech Research Fund is to enhance research-based knowledge development in the Czech Republic through enhanced research cooperation between the Czech Republic and Norway. The programme will fund collaborative research projects in the following areas:
• Environment
• Health
• Social Science and the Humanities
The programme aims at cooperation between research institutions in common areas of interest in the two countries, and also strengthen ties and sharing of experience between research funding institutions in the CR and Norway.
This bilateral programme is focused on the development of research-based knowledge via cooperation between Czech and Norwegian institutions.

Date of the Signature of the Programme Agreement Contract was signed on 31 October 2013.

Programme Area Bilateral Research Cooperation - open call
Allocation: 388 901 025 CZK/ 15 138 226 EUR
Bilateral Cooperation

Bilateral cooperation at programme level:
- For Applicants (3 282 353 CZK/132 353 EUR): searching for Project Partners from Norway before or during the preparation of project application, development of bilateral relations, preparation of application for Partnership Project with Donor States. The travel expenses will be among to eligible expenses of the Project. It could be paid a lump sum up to 5 000 € (after approvel of the Programme). The Programme Operator will not announce Open Call for Measure I.
- For Project Promoters (2 188 228 CZK/88 235 EUR): only for applicants, who have already become project promoters within the Open Call of the Programme. The Programme Operator will announce an Open Call for proposals.
