| Objective of the Project |
The heritage fruit tree varieties present an important element of habitat diversity within our cultural landscape. The restoration of them is becoming quite popular in the Czech Republic. This project aims to specify and provide basic rules for the restoration them, currently they are not applied here. It is also not clearly stated which varieties are considered heritage, there are no rules for an effective preservation of their gene pool, and planting them in the landscape. This project will bring improving in this issue, with the benefit for the government and other involved donors too. |
