The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs announces on 11th July 2014 the first open call for applications to fund individual projects within Small Grant Scheme within Programme CZ04 “Children and Youth at Risk”.

The SGS will aim to support applicants in creating effective consultative mechanism, which will allow children to freely express their views in all matters affecting them, as well as ensuring the views of the child are given due weight in accordance with the age and maturity of the child. The projects to be supported as part of the SGS will primarily aim at relevant professionals who adopt decisions affecting children and young people, to ensure the views of the child are given due weight in the relevant decision-making processes. These primarily include but are not limited to the authorities of social and legal protection of children at various levels. Aside from that, the SGS will also serve to support activities strengthening the public awareness of the rights of the child.

Deadline for submission of applications is on 22nd September 2014.
