Between 7 to 13 September 2015 and 23 to 24 November 2015, there took place a reciprocal bilateral initiative "Fire Protection of St. James Church and Other Historical Buildings in Kutná Hora, UNESCO Site" which follows the currently implemented project "Renovation and Rehabilitation of St James’s Church In Unesco World Heritage Site Kutná Hora."

Norwegian partner of the initiative was a fire brigade of district Roros, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Study tour of representatives of the applicant to Roros, the study of fire safety and expertise in place, as well as the residence of the Norwegian experts from Roros in Kutna Hora, analysing fire safety of St. James Church and consultations of fire security historic city center will contribute to the preparation of specific fire protection of St. James Church and other religious buildings in Kutna Hora.

This partnership will create a platform for further collaboration on detection system between the fire departments of Roros, Central Bohemian Region and Kutná Hora. The conclusions of this collaboration were presented at an expert seminar to other institutions that have the responsibility of protecting historical monuments.
