Objective of the Project |
The National Moravian/Silesian Theatre (NMST) will support the development of the new staging project thanks to the received funding. The introduction and production of this new staging project and many other accompanying activities will strongly enhance the bilateral cooperation of Czech and Norwegian theatrical society. Moreover, the performance will introduce the modern Norwegian art to a broader audience. Firstly, the translation of the original play Lilleskogen (Small Forest) from the Norwegian author Jasper Halle (1956) is necessary. In 2004, this play was awarded with the prize Hedda. Jaroslava Vrbova, an important Norwegian translator, will be translating the play. Her translations are well known to the audience as she recently translated the work of Astrid Lindgren and Jostein Gaarden. |
