The presentation was launched by Kateřina Grygarová, the Director of the Department of European Funds and Investment Development of the Ministry of Health, who emphasized in her speech the importance of the EEA and Norwegian Grants for health and healthcare projects, and appreciated the existing financial support of these financial mechanisms. Lucia Hrivňáková presented the thematic targeting of the Area 1 within the framework of the forthcoming Health Programme 2014-2021, focusing on the prevention of mental disorders in the child population. Solfrid Johansen from the Norwegian Public Health Institute subsequently presented the mission of the EEA Funds in the field of bilateral cooperation with institutions from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. The possibilities of establishing cooperation with partners from the Donor States were summarized by Lenka Šlitrová (the Ministry of Finance) in her presentation. A contact seminar for potential grant applicants and potential partners was announced to be held by the end of this year. Dr. Michal Goetz subsequently presented a prepared pre-defined project focused at implementing the Incredible Years programme in the Czech Republic.
