On 20 November 2018 the Government of the Czech Republic approved the document „Methodology of financial flows, control and certification of programmes financed from the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms 2014-2021 (with effect from November 20, 2018)“ (hereinafter referred to as the “Methodology”). The Methodology lays down a basic framework for approach to financial management, control, irregularities, accounting, reporting and certification of funds incurred under the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms 2014-2021.
The Memoranda of Understanding for a new period of the EEA and Norwegian Funds between the Czech Republic and the donor states of Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland was ceremoniously signed at the Anežské klášter in Prague on 4th September 2017.
The basic document for the implementation of the EEA and the Norwegian Grants 2014-2021 is the Regulation on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Regulation on the implementation of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
