In connection with the EEA and Norway Grants Annual Meeting in the Czech Republic, we seize the opportunity to spotlight proFem, a beacon of hope and transformation in addressing violence against women. Last week's visit coincides with a crucial time when the European Union's recent ratification of the Istanbul Convention and UN Women's 'Orange the World' campaign bring into sharp focus the importance of combating gender-based violence.

Ministry of Finance as the Programme Operator for the "Human rights, Roma Inclusion and Domestic and Gender-Based violence" programme exchanged experience in the Roma inclusion and empowerment within the EEA and Norway grants 2014 - 2021 with the Romanian Social Development Fund.

Before the deadline for submission of grant applications (15 March 2022) under small grant scheme “Organisation of Awareness Raising Campaigns - Raising Awareness on Selected Areas of Domestic and Gender-based Violence (HRSGSC)” opened within the Human Rights Programme, we received 18 grant applications.
Let us present the final results of the call aimed at providing therapeutic programs and other services to perpetrators of domestic and gender-based violence. Three projects with a total volume of almost CZK 13 million were supported.
