The Centre of Roma and Sinti will be established in Prague

The Museum of Romani Culture will open the Centre of Roma and Sinti in Prague (Prage 6 - Dejvice), which will be the first of its kind in the capital. This memory institution will not only present Romani history and spiritual and material culture, but will also become a social and community center offering educational and cultural activities to the general public.

The meeting of the SYNERGY Network against Domestic and Gender-based Violence was held in Prague (Snemovni 7) on 8 October 2019. After Oslo and Bucharest, it was the fourth meeting of the platform SYNERGY Network against Domestic and Gender-based Violence.

Launch Event of the Programme Human Rights, Roma Inclusion and Domestic and Gender-based Violence

The new Programme „Human Rights, Roma Inclusion and Domestic and Gender-based Violence” was officially launched at a conference in Prague on 13 March 2019. Within the programming period of Norway Grants 2014 - 2021 more than half billion of Czech Korunas will be distributed by the Ministry of Finance (the Programme Operator) among projects aimed at human rights protection, inclusion of Roma in Czech society, Roma empowerment, prevention of domestic and gender-based violence and protection of victims.
