#OurStories - On the outskirts of Kutná Hora in central Bohemia, the most modern Training centre of the Police of the Czech Republic was established in our country. Thanks to funding from Norway grants, the abandoned military barracks have become a top-level facility that serves not only to train police officers, but also public administration employees and other departments. Modern educational facility, an outdoor training polygon according to NATO standards, and openness to external institutions make this Centre unique in the entire Czech Republic.
#OurStories: Citizen as a Partner
Otrokovice energizes the topic of public participation not only locally but also in other municipalities. Behind this modest project title lies a tremendous amount of work, plenty of inspiration, fresh ideas, and shared experiences. It is very likely the largest platform of municipalities ever created in the Czech Republic around this topic.
The perpetrators of violence often provoke disgust in us and few people have the desire to think about what lies behind their behaviour. But what if it's not an adult, but a teenage boy with a difficult life who doesn't know what to do with himself? And what if it's not cold calculation that's behind his violence, but confusion, pain and uncontrolled emotions?
#OurStoreis - A modern take on a traditional cultural monument. That was, in short, the thematic focus of the Culture Programmme's open call. The project submitted by the Municipal Library in Prague fulfilled the assignment to the letter. Its result? Virtual reality in the library - the library in virtual reality.
