122 million Czech crowns for Judiciary from the Norway Grants - Programme CZ15

Today there was the Launch conference of the Programme CZ15 – Judicial capacity building and cooperation in justice / correctional services, including alternative sentencing '' financed by the Norway Grants 2009 to 2014. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with partners - the Ministry of Justice and the Council of Europe. The conference was attended by representatives of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Prague, the Financial Mechanism Office in Brussels, the Council of Europe, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, courts, prosecutors, the Prison Service and the Probation and Mediation Service. The aim of the conference was the official launch of the Programme CZ15 and its presentation to stakeholders.

"The purpose of the Programme CZ15 is to contribute to building a more efficient judicial system and to improve the correctional services in accordance with relevant international human rights instruments. The Norwegian side deserves a big thank you for being part of these activities." said Eva Anderová, Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations and Financial Policy. " I would like to emphasize that all participants in this project played a significant part in its preparation, and therefore they all deserve a credit for it. Without these people we would not be able to use the open arms of the Norwegian colleagues and implement these important projects, "said Senior Director of Internal Administration and European programs of the Ministry of Justice Miloš Pochobradský.

Program, which is divided into two priority areas (capacity building and cooperation in justice, correctional services, including alternative penalties) will be implemented through pre-defined projects.
