Objective of the Project

The project is focused on support for the harmonisation of professional and family life of employees of the Partnership Foundation and other NGOs cooperating in the Open Gardens administration centre.
There is a high number of Open Gardens centre employees/parents with small children. Along with our feeling that our work in a non-profit organisation is not only a job but also a life mission, we are keen on keeping in touch with the profession also during parental leave. Along with urgent economic reasons, it is highly important for us to have the opportunity to come back to professional life at least for a part-time job and we do usually come back sooner than other people because we simply like what we do.
Implemented Tools:

  • arranging a working children’s group
  • support of individual child-minding in cases of illness or unforeseeable job obligations
  • creating floating jobs for employees/parents without fulltime jobs.

This enables a better harmonisation of work and family life for the 15 employees of our organisation who are parents of small children.
