Information on the preparation and the expected dates of launches and publication for openning programmes and open calls for EEA and Norway Grants 2009 - 2014

National Focal Point for the EEA and Norway Grants 2009-2014 in the Czech Republic would like to inform the public, potential grant applicants and all partners involved in the preparation within the EEA and Norway Grants, the current status of prepared programmes.

The most of the 15 programmes were submitted to the FMO in Brussels ( hereinafter referred to as the "FMO " ) during February-March 2012. Because of new requirements relating to the method of co- financing mechanism which donors raised in the second half of the year and the need to assess programs in terms of state aid rules to the assessment process and obtaining final approval donors with programs submitted late.

Programme operators are currently finishing updadets of programmes and respond to recent questions FMO  which must be resolved before the final submission of programmes for final donors approvals.

The NFP based on the present, it is estimated that the submitted programmess will be approved during the February - March 2013 and therefore the end of March 2013 should be approved by the majority of programmes .

The NFP will be announce the open calls of Funds for Bilateral Relations at Programme Level after approval of the programmes. Projects of bilateral cooperation programmes will aim to contact potential applicants with partners from donor States so that they are able to deliver quality applications for grants after Announcement of the Open Calls (there will be partnerships in some programmes with institutions of donor States mandatory in others optional) .

The Announcement of the Open Calls are expected from the beginning of the 2nd half of 2013.
