The call for proposals of
additional activities for the
supported projects is open
until July 2017, therefore the
final information may vary.

Contemporary art is one of the supported areas of

the Programme CZ06

“Cultural Heritage and Contemporary Arts”.

The main aim of the Programme

was to support projects which differ in their approach, offer an innovative
view and stimulate discussion among artists, experts and citizens.

The EEA Grants acknowledge the role of culture and cultural diversity in
promoting respect for different cultures and their differences. Various kinds
of projects were developed in collaboration

with partners from Iceland and

Norway

 confirming this idea.

The Programme contributed to the area of contemporary art with

approx.

EUR 3 million

 and enabled the support of

30 creative and innovative projects

and

14 additional activities

which extended the cooperation with the donor

state partners.
