Objective of the Project

The proposed project aimed to establish institutional cooperation between the UCT Prague and UiT Tromso. The main objective of the project was the strengthening and improvement of education in the field of bioprospecting, biotechnologies, and food safety. Within the project, both young scientists (Ph.D. students), and experienced academics and professors travelled to their partner university to take part in intensive educational courses and observe classes. The obtained knowledge and experience were implemented in their own subjects, teaching plans, and research activities. New educational tools and study materials were prepared and implemented at both universities. In addition, joint seminars and workshops were organized to support the creation of new research groups, ensuring further research sustainability.
